Image above is of our Sun on November 2, 2020, with clear observation of the thick clouds concentrated towards its lower half. Given the volume of clouds that flow through our skies worldwide every year, about 2/3 of the clouds block the Sun by some proportion.
In the upper right hand corner of the image, there is a #preeminence of hot gas in magnetic #levitation. The #circumference of the hot gas can easily wrap a circular envelope around our earth, while persisting above the Sun’s surface for a month’s time.
The image shown is actually a compilation of two images; one snapshot focuses on the preeminence hovering above the Sun and the other, focuses in on the Sun’s chromosphere or outer atmosphere. Our Solar System’s Sun is 93,000,000 miles from earth.
